Paris
Audrey Hepburn once said, "Paris is always a good idea," and I could not agree more. Throughout my whole life, I dreamed of traveling to this beautiful city. It was not until my husband, then boyfriend, at age thirty-seven, that my dream came true, and thankfully we have gone back to the City of Lights four to five times since. The day these photos were taken was pretty wonderful. I modeled this flirty Diane von Furstenberg dress early morning in Jardin des Tuileries near Bassin Octogonal. This stunning park is situated between Place de la Concorde and Musée du Louvre, and just across La Seine, is my favorite Musée d'Orsay. After our little photo shoot, we ate breakfast(I use that term loosely here it was more like dessert) at Shaun's favorite, Angelina. The hot chocolate is like a liquid candy bar. Then we headed over to, which is a must if you are a lover of books, Galignani. This magnificent bookshop is the first English bookshop on the continent. I picked up French Brasserie by Daniel Galmiche. Up next, a quick walk across the river where we spent the afternoon in d'Orsay. We finished this perfect day at one of our favorite restaurants, Senderens, which looks out to L'eglise de la Madeleine. The whole day was just as I dreamed Paris would be.
