It's the weekend! Big plans?

 We are attending Shaun's 20th high school reunion. It should be interesting and fun:) If you follow me on Instagram you may remember I made a Roasted Tomato Basil Soup. It turned out..

Delicious. You can find the recipe on this Pinterest board. I used beautiful heirloom tomatoes that I had on hand (rather then the plums that are suggested) and basil growing in my garden. This soup is a bit spicy due to the red pepper but adds an intense flavor  that you don't get with most tomato soups. I would recommend making this soup while tomatoes are in season.
