Spring planting!! This year I finally feel like I have some energy to pour into some finishing touches in our garden. First up: mixing some Caradonna Silvia in with the already existing natural grasses I have growing in the front yard. It looks like a sea of golden yellow and a pop of purple will look beautiful.
The girls are now at an age where they are not only interested but can participate so we packed our gardening tools and seeds and headed to my sister’s house. She has a greenhouse set up for all her spring planting. My sister, Jessica, has a deep interest in gardening and really knows her stuff so she was the perfect person to do this with. The girls took the planting very seriously. A fun project, and I have a feeling there are going to be lots of days helping mommy in the garden in our future.
Unfortunately this children’s gardening tote I bought for the girls on Amazon is basically sold out world wide but I found this pink one which is just as adorable and a blue one too. These miniature gardening totes would look very sweet in a garden themed Easter basket.
